Q. Kind of give you a preview of what to expect tomorrow in terms of the battle, the course, what it gives you, that kind of stuff?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, I think the conditions tomorrow should be pretty similar to what they were today. Definitely a lot of birdies out there. So, you know, got to be hitting some shots and holing in putts, as well.

Q. Where do you feel you were sharp and where weren't you?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I felt I was good with my irons today. Could have hit a few more fairways. Just hit a lot of good putts today. Just kind of right around the edge.

Q. Sorry for this being too golfy, but that chip you hit on 15, was that the only option you had? It was a nice shot. I was just wondering if it was risky.

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I had a few options. The lies around the greens here can be pretty challenging. It's kind of like that every year. I think that's one of the challenges of the course.

It makes you think in terms of what type of shot you're going to play, you know, around the greens. I had a lob wedge option, a 56 option, a putter option. Fortunately, I chose the right one that time.

Q. Did you think it was a good shot?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah. Did you not?

Q. It felt like there was a little while where there might be some separation between you guys, but on a golf course where a lot of scores can be shot, there are some guys who are a little farther back than maybe at a week-to-week event we see. Do you guys feel like, as you're playing together, that you separate at all as you're coming down the stretch, or does it not really feel that way, it's too early for that?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, I mean, it's still a little early in the tournament. This is a golf course where you can see some numbers be shot. You know, guys can shoot pretty low.

Going into tomorrow just try to execute, have a good round, and see where that puts me.
