LIV GOLF KOREA

May 30, 2026

Scott Vincent

Gijang, Busan, South Korea

Asiad Country Club

HyFlyers GC

Press Conference

THE MODERATOR: We'd like to welcome Scott Vincent of HyFlyers GC to the media center. Scott, well played today, 3-under on the day, 67, currently one back of the lead entering the final round. First talk us through the round and how you felt out there.

SCOTT VINCENT: Yeah, it was a great day again, obviously putting myself in a good spot for tomorrow. The course is continuing to play hard and tough. I think playing the ball down today was also quite a challenge. But it was a great day. Played with two really awesome players. Got to watch Joaco stripe it and make an awesome putt on the last.

It was a fun day.

Q. Of the top six guys on the leaderboard right now, the other five have combined to win 20 times out here on LIV. How much do you relish your opportunity to chase your first victory against that kind of caliber of leaders?

SCOTT VINCENT: Yeah, I think any opportunity is welcome. Winning out here is not easy. I think just big picture-wise, just putting myself in this position is just great for me, try and get better and develop as a player. These guys have been here before, so they know exactly what it's about. For me, it's just that process of getting to tee off the first tee a couple times and then holding my position and then just getting used to that, getting a bit more comfortable.

I think it's probably going to take a few more of those, but again, golf is amazing; you never know what can happen tomorrow. I could go play some of my best golf ever. That's exciting. I think that's the beauty of the sport is you just never know.

I'm looking forward to it, but I think for me, it's just all those steps to getting a little bit more comfortable, getting used to this, getting practice in these situations. So I welcome it.

Q. The HyFlyers are, I believe, the fifth team that you've played for. Have you kept all your apparel from the other teams? How does that work? Can you keep it all straight?

SCOTT VINCENT: I have not, no. Has it really been five? Well, okay. Let's try and stick on a team. That would be nice.

Q. Are you surprised at how the scores have not been any better? And what makes this course particularly tough?

SCOTT VINCENT: I think, like I was mentioning a little bit yesterday, when I'd walked this course and played it in the practice round, I did not expect it to play as tough as it is. Then you play it in tournament conditions, and you're like, it is as tough as it is feeling and looking right now.

But yeah, it has felt really tough and hard, and probably more so today just with no ball in hand. Any chance to save yourself around the green is such a challenge. The grain is a little harder than maybe it looks on TV.

It just requires really good execution and a lot of fairway shots. That's your best chance at really attacking this course.

Q. You mentioned yesterday you've played a lot in Asia, but talk about the reception from the fans out there today.

SCOTT VINCENT: The fans have been incredible. I think every time we come and play in Korea, they love the game. They love golf. Whether you hit a good shot or not, they're cheering for you. It's a fun place to play golf.

Q. I know that you're a fan, of course played very well in Korea several times. Has this experience been helpful in playing in Busan today?

SCOTT VINCENT: Yeah, I think it can only help. I've loved playing here in Korea, have quite a few times. So I'm familiar with the grass, familiar with the rough and what that plays like, as well as the sand. Yes, long way of saying yes, I think it has helped. So hopefully it'll help again tomorrow.
