TV Quick Quotes

Q. You've been trending better of late, a top 10 in Virginia. Did you start this week feeling like your game was coming around?

JOAQUÍN NIEMANN: Yeah, I mean, I've just been doing the whole process, trying to get better, and I feel like that always pays off. Sooner than later it always pays off.

Q. Five wins last year, still searching for the first this year. Does that weigh on your mind at all?

JOAQUÍN NIEMANN: Sure. It's obviously a nice feeling to win, and we're out here for that. But I'm just more focused on what I'm doing now and the way I'm hitting the ball, just trying to keep chasing that trajectory that I'm seeing in my head, so that's what I need to do.

Q. You're in position to win, something you've done seven times. You don't approach it any differently?

JOAQUÍN NIEMANN: No. I'm just going to stick with my game, have my process, be in communication with my caddie and we'll see what happens on Sunday afternoon.

Q. And maybe keep walking in a few putts.

JOAQUÍN NIEMANN: That would be fun.
