ALL-STAR GAME

February 15, 2026

Kevin Durant

Los Angeles, California, USA

USA Stripes

Postgame Press Conference

Q. How do you like East versus West over the current format?

KEVIN DURANT: I thought we played well today. All three teams came out and played good ball. The last one was tough. They hit a lot of shots. To see the greatness on the floor with the red team. I am with the red team.

I think it was definitely a step up in the competitive department compared to last season.

Q. Kevin, you are a minority stakeholder in Paris Saint-Germain. They want to create a franchise to take to NBA Europe. Are you involved in the process?

KEVIN DURANT: I wouldn't say I'm involved in the process. I've heard about it. Obviously I'm prepared to talk about it if it presents itself. For now, I haven't heard too much about it. Just rumors and narratives and stuff about it. Once it starts to form, hopefully I can be a part of it, pushing the game all around the world.

Q. At this stage of your career, how do you personally define your legacy?

KEVIN DURANT: Somebody who has been around for a long time, who has experienced pretty much everything in this league. I just feel like I've experienced everything. I think I've experienced a lot. It's up for people to determine how they feel about my game or my legacy. For me, I feel like I've reached my expectations. I've set a lot of goals for myself. I'm still enjoying what I'm doing.

Q. How much did you enjoy being out there with LeBron, Kawhi and those guys you've played against for so long?

KEVIN DURANT: It felt good. It felt good to be out there with greats, new and old, and even international guys, too, stepping in and becoming first-time All-Stars and guys that have been around for a while.

It was a great game. I like that we started at -- it was different, starting at 2:00, but I kind of liked it as we got going a bit.

Hopefully we just build upon this and the weekend becomes more and more competitive, and the fans start to enjoy it more and more.

Q. Did you enjoy the almost Olympic-type format where you had the Team World and Stars and Stripes?

KEVIN DURANT: Yeah, the intensity was good. Both teams were competing. The intensity to start the games were good. Both teams were competing and playing defense. I think it was a show that everybody put on. Kawhi was great. Ant was great. I think we did what we're supposed to do for the fans.

Q. Was playing back to back an issue at all?

KEVIN DURANT: The last game?

Q. Yeah.

KEVIN DURANT: Yeah, we can make that excuse. We can go ahead and make that excuse.

Q. You said the KD 6 is the favorite sneaker in your sneaker line. What about it makes it your favorite? And what do you think of that 2014 pair that just retro-ed recently?

KEVIN DURANT: Everything changes for me when it comes to favorites. It's like a kid or friend, you can't really choose. You like it all for different reasons. But the 6 is one of those shoes. I think I was the MVP in that shoe. Yeah, there's a lot of stuff that's got sentimental value to me.

Nike does a great job of retro-ing and bringing back older models to let people get that feel again. I'm excited about the new stuff we got dropping soon. It's going to be incredible.
