Quick Quotes

Q. 66 for a total of 13-under. Give us your reflections on the round and the week as a whole.

JON RAHM: Today, it's maybe not now, it's getting windy but for 17 holes it was a much easier golf course. Still soft. Greens were fantastic this morning, and besides being a little cool, there was no wind, right.

So if you had the chance, you had to be aggressive. Got off to a great start. I was very -- it's hard to miss fairways on 1 and 3 and make birdies and I was able to do that and chip-in on 2. It's a flying start, and it was nice to keep it going.

Unfortunately that stretch, the lip-out on 12 and then 13 through 16, playing those one over par, when I really felt like I was making good enough swings to give myself better chances, was probably what set me back slightly. But still a great round of golf. Very, very happy.

Q. Ryder Cup, 12 days away. Eight times out of the last ten, home team has won. The exception is the Miracle at Medinah, which was a miracle. What makes you believe that your team can win this time?

JON RAHM: Well, wouldn't be the first time miracles happened twice. Got to have faith. I think we're playing good enough and we are n a good and strong enough team to face what we are going to face at Bethpage and hopefully end up with the Cup.
