BMW CHAMPIONSHIP

August 16, 2025

Ludvig Aberg

Owings Mills, Maryland, USA

Caves Valley Golf Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Nice finish to that round. Take us through how you thought it went.

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, it was definitely trickier today. I thought the pins were a lot harder in general where there was a lot of pins that you had to play a little bit more conservative to, but overall I felt like I managed it quite well.

Sort of a tricky stretch from middle-ish round to sort of middle of the back nine, and glad that I was able to hang in there and put a good score in, which is always nice to do when you're maybe not as autopilot, if you will.

Q. About a five-shot deficit heading into tomorrow. What's the mindset when you're chasing like you will be tomorrow?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, it's definitely going to take a really good score. Bob is playing really great golf and so is Mr. Scheffler. It's a tough task and it's a tall order, but I'm excited about where I'm at. I'm excited about what I've seen so far this week and these last couple of weeks, which is encouraging to me, and I know I'll be excited to go play tomorrow and see where that ends up tomorrow night.

Q. The course the way it's playing right now, does it feel like there's a 7-under round out there, if you really get it going?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, it all depends on the pins. There's definitely some big-boy holes. Obviously 17 today is a tricky one, some long par-3s, and you've got to strike the ball well. But it seems like there's always someone shooting a good score on the PGA TOUR, and hopefully we can do some good things tomorrow.

Q. Just one random one. Do you work with J.J. over at Titleist much week-to-week on clubs?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, we have conversations probably every Monday through Wednesday, just going through the bag, making sure that nothing is off. We've been trying out some different 3-irons and those things. But overall I don't tweak too much on a week-to-week basis.

Q. What value does J.J. bring to you and all the other Titleist guys?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: J.J. is great. I trust him with everything that I have in terms of golf clubs. We did a lot of stuff with the driver earlier this year, which paid dividends. Yeah, J.J. has got a lot of knowledge and is a really good asset for us players on the TOUR.
