OLIVIA McMILLAN: Hi, so even par start to here at the 149th Open. Can you talk to us about your round.
DANIEL BERGER: Yeah, overall it was a good start. I think the scores are a little lower than I thought they were going to be. But, you know, got to hit fairways and you got to hit greens, and that's kind of the key out here to playing a good round.
So just need to work on a few things and get better for tomorrow.
 Q. What are the things you're looking to work on?
DANIEL BERGER: Just hit a few more fairways. I hit not as many fairways as I wanted today and some of the easier holes I didn't take advantage of, but I hung in there well. Could've shot 2- or 3-over, and so I feel like I got the most out of my round today, which is a good start.
 Q. Talk to us what it's like to be back playing in front of so many fans.
DANIEL BERGER: Yeah, it's nice. On the PGA TOUR we've had fans back for a month or two now, so it's definitely a better energy than empty grandstands and no one out there. It's nice to get applauded when you hit good shot. The fans over here in the U.K. know a lot about golf, so it's always a pleasure to come and play in front of them.
