NICOLE VAIDISOVA: Yeah, I can be definitely happy the way I played. I've been improving match by match. I definitely knew I had to raise my game today. Had a tough opponent. So, yeah, I'm pretty happy the way I played today. Q. What do you think you did particularly well? What was the difference in the match for you? NICOLE VAIDISOVA: You know, it's always tough because she's such a good returner. We have to focus really hard the first shot after serve, right be ready. I returned very well. Stepped in the court. Q. Who do you play now? NICOLE VAIDISOVA: Safarova. Q. Have you played her before? NICOLE VAIDISOVA: Yeah, I think we played a couple times. Q. Are you surpassing your expectations coming into the tournament? Are you feeling at the top of your game? NICOLE VAIDISOVA: I feel good. I don't think I'm surpassing my expectations because I knew I was playing well. I had a good off-season, had a good run in Sydney. Just very happy I won today and very excited about my next match.
