DIMITRI KALININ: I am very happy to be a part of this team in the future. I am very happy to be drafted by Buffalo Sabres. Very excited.

DIMITRI KALININ: Mostly stay home defenseman, reliable stay home defenseman.

DIMITRI KALININ: They have interviewed me, yeah. I didn't really give the thought. To be in the first round is very prestigious and that is what I thought.

DIMITRI KALININ: Ready to go now, but it may take a year or so. I was very happy, very glad to be on the stage and especially I like the club. I like the Buffalo Club, so I was very proud to be there. I like the fact that Alexei Zhitnik, one of the best defensemen is on the team, so I will be happy to play on the line with him, if it is possible. It looks like it is a very friendly team and I like the style the team plays. The reason why Vladimir Konstantinov, I see myself after Konstantinov. I like the way he plays the game.

DIMITRI KALININ: I feel myself very comfortable. I like the city. My first impression is very high.
