JEFF HEEREMA: I can't even explain it. I am really happy about it.

JEFF HEEREMA: Anywhere in the first round would have been great. I came in 13th. I am really happy.

JEFF HEEREMA: My parents and my two brothers and my agent.

JEFF HEEREMA: No, we flew down to Minneapolis and then to here.

JEFF HEEREMA: Yeah, it has been pretty hectic, but I have gotten used to it and I mean, it comes with the game and I have come to enjoy it.

JEFF HEEREMA: I think I am a pretty fast skater, like to get in the corners and go for the puck and score some goals.

JEFF HEEREMA: I like to say maybe Shanahan. They gave me some kind of an indication that they might take me. I was kind of hoping that they would and they did, so it worked out good.
