NASCAR CRAFTSMAN TRUCK SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP RACE

November 6, 2026

Kaden Honeycutt

Homestead, Florida

Victory Lane Interview

THE MODERATOR: Kaden, we know getting in that 11 comes with a lot of expectations. You've earned it. You shined when the pressure is at its highest, five wins this year, delivered in spectacular fashion tonight.

Congratulations to TRICON Garage, Scott Zipadelli, the whole team over there. I will say on behalf of the France family and everyone at NASCAR, it's my honor to present the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship trophy to Kaden Honeycutt. You have had to fight for every opportunity throughout the course of your career. How validating is this to become a champion?

KADEN HONEYCUTT: Man, this is for all the dirt track racers back at home in Texas that I raced with when I was 12 years old all the way until 17. I worked with my daddy in the shop for so dang long to even be in the dirt track business running Friday and Saturday, running a stockcar, running a modified, anything I could hop in.

I moved to North Carolina to work on the trucks. The only opportunity I had to was to work on the vehicles I was going to drive.

Last year I was so fortunate I transitioned to the driver. Man, we're a champion first time together with this 11 team. I can't thank Safelite, Toyota Racing, Mobil 1, TRICON Garage, just everyone that worked so dang hard.

Everyone at the fab shop that builds badass race vehicles for us and safe ones as well. So thanks to Kevin, David, Johnny Gray for the opportunity to race with this amazing race team, and the fricking G.O.A.T. on pit road, Scott Zipadelli for who he is.

I love him so much. He's been such a mentor. This is a Hall of Fame race team right here. I can't wait to do it again next week.

Q. A great driver can't do great things without a really good team around him. How did this team turn you into a championship-caliber driver?

KADEN HONEYCUTT: I was not a champion driver to start the season. I was very out of my comfort zone. I was caving into the pressure so much just from the team that had the success last year.

Thanks to Scott that didn't give up on me. He constantly was working with me off the racetrack, in the simulator. David as well. I wouldn't be here without 'em.

My amazing wife sticking with me, pressuring me every single day to be better, not put so much pressure on myself, just drive the race truck. We did that.

I finally found my comfort zone halfway through the year. We racked up some amazing numbers. It not because of me, under the circumstances because of this race team, the trucks they build that I'm so lucky to drive.
