Q. That is as almost one year ago today I told you (in Japanese) you were now the defending champion of this tournament. You currently have the low round of the tournament. How special is it for you to have such a strong title defense so far?

NASA HATAOKA: So weather is obviously change from yesterday so I played really well today, and especially iron shots were good. So that kind of, you know, gave me a low score.

Q. And you grew up not far from here. Is it extra special for you to be sleeping in your own bed and are you playing extra hard because of your local fans?

NASA HATAOKA: I don't really have chances to play in front of that many Japanese fans, especially in U.S. and to this week local family, friends, are coming here so support me so I'm really happy to be playing in front of them.

Q. And you have been playing really, really well so far this season; five Top 10s. How special would it be for you to successfully defend your title this week?

NASA HATAOKA: Actually I had to withdraw from the tournament especially in major tournaments and I have missed cuts in major tournament which is a little bit shame, so for the rest of the season my goal is to get at least one win so hopefully I can achieve my goal this week.
