Q. Ana, congratulations. What a week. You took a gamble at the beginning of the week and it's certainly paid off.

ANA BELAC: Yeah, I was the first reserve until pretty much an hour before my tee time yesterday. It's end of the season and before last week I was in kind of a position where like every point mattered just to keep my card this year, and I'm really glad that I came here and I think it's paying off.

Q. This is wonderful to see you playing so beautifully. At one point today you were 8-under par and had the lead. What's the one shot out there that made you feel a bit like a genius?

ANA BELAC: I started the round pretty hot. On second hole I hit it to five feet but missed my birdie putt. On third hole I hit it again on the long par-3 to five feet and I made it.

I was like, oh, this is going to be fun today, because I just kept hitting it close and kind of blacked out. I don't know how far you said I was. Now we're here.

Q. Those are days that you love. Did you get a little bit nervous down the stretch when you saw your name at the top of the leaderboard?

ANA BELAC: I still haven't looked at a leaderboard. I just kind of learned the hard way a few times looking it leaderboards. Normally I was looking at the cut line, but this is a little different change of pace.

But I just, you know, like I don't even know. I think I was 8-under at one point and I saw all the people with cameras and everybody was up in my face and I was like, oh, something is happening here. That woke me up from my blackout a little bit, so, you know.

Q. You're the only player from Slovenia on the LPGA Tour. Will they be up watching this?

ANA BELAC: Probably my parents are. I'm sure my dad is screaming on the couch. It's early morning. There is not very much golf courses. I grew up 45 minute from the nearest nine hole golf course so it's a bit of a stretch to making it on LPGA Tour.

But it's been a long time coming so hopefully I'm here to stay.
