Fuka Suga

Taihelyo Club Minori Course

Quick Quotes

Q. Joining us after the first round of the TOTO Japan Classic is Fuka Suga. This is your second time playing in this event. Can you talk about what you learned from your first experience last year?

FUKA SUGA: I don't really have many chances to play with overseas players, and most of them are long hitters, so their distance definitely motivates me quite a lot. I'm kind of focused on distance right now.

Q. It was very wet this morning. How did you manage course conditions?

FUKA SUGA: Obviously because of the wet weather, I couldn't hit long, so I had to choose the longer clubs, like two clubs longer, and I was aiming at the pins, and then I just hit aggressively.
