Quick Quotes
Q. All right, joining us after the third round of the Maybank Championship a Robyn Choi. Robyn, really strong round today. Talk about what's going well throughout this whole week.
ROBYN CHOI: I think I'm just hitting a lot of fairways, hitting lot of greens. My shots were quite decent the last couple weeks as well but my putts haven't been dropping. I think that's kind of dropped this week, so I think that's kind of the major difference.
Q. We've heard a lot about how the Aussies love playing in Malaysia and Singapore because there is a lot of Aussie support out here. Have you been feeling that this week and has that been helping you?
ROBYN CHOI: Yeah, no, I've seen a lot of Aussies out here, like surprisingly. I mean, I didn't think they were going to come all the way to Malaysia for us. No, it's a lot of great support. Just to hear the Aussie accent as well feels like home, so...
Q. In a good spot heading into the final round tomorrow. What do you think will be your focus?
ROBYN CHOI: Honestly, I think I'm just going to keep to my same game plan: Just keep it on the fairways, keep it on the greens. Just trying to not make silly mistakes is the biggest goal.
And, you know, if putts drop, thank you. Otherwise I just have to keep grinding. Golf is always a grind.
Q. What do you think has been going right for you this week?
ROBYN CHOI: This week? I think putting, to be honest. I think I made a lot more putts than I have the last couple weeks. I've kind of been struggling a little bit trying to make my birdie putts, trying to convert them into birdies.
I've done a lot of that this week, and I think by doing that I've just kept the momentum going and then, yeah, just kind of...
Q. What's the mindset like going into the final...
ROBYN CHOI: Honestly, right now or like going today was just like make as many birdies as I can because golfers are always going to make mistakes. If I have a few birdies coming up, I'll take chances, and if I happen to make a bogey so be it, yeah.
