Quick Quotes
Q. Joining us after the first round of the Maybank Championship is Charley Hull. You haven't played in this event that few years. What made you decide to come back to Malaysia this year?
CHARLEY HULL: Well, I had like four weeks off, so it was kind of the only event that I could really like -- wanted to play in. I kind of like -- I was nearly taking the whole six weeks off, but I felt like I just wanted to play some golf.
Q. You're obviously playing well. Do you feel like your game is in a really good spot heading into the end of the season?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, I feel like it's in a really good spot heading into the end of the season. I feel like it's been is quite busy year. Even when he was at home for four weeks I had a lot of sponsor commitments to do so didn't really feel at all like I was having four weeks off.
I kind of like the early tee times here because the afternoons I can just completely relax. It's quite nice.
Q. You have an interesting putter cover. Is there any story there?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, that's from the British Open two years ago, in Wales.
Q. So the dragon?
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, it's just been -- I don't know why. I've just kept it on the bag because I needed a putter head cover.
Q. Last one: What do you think will be really important the next two days to get low scoring at this tournament?
CHARLEY HULL: Keep hitting it well and hole some putts, and hopefully the weather stays away so we can play some golf.
