ANNIKA MAYERS: All right, joining us ahead of the 2026 Maybank Championship are Haeran Ryu and Hye-Jin Choi. You guys have been playing really well recently. Really strong finish for you both at BMW last week. Talk about how you're feeling with your game heading into this week.

HAERAN RYU: I had another great week in Korea. This course, I love this course, and I can't wait to play at Maybank.

HYE-JIN CHOI: I had a really good week last two weeks and I had a really good round last week too and I was really satisfied about it. I have a good memory last year here at Maybank, so really looking forward for it.

ANNIKA MAYERS: Hye-Jin, like you said, you played really well here last year. Do you think there is something specific about this course that suits you well?

HYE-JIN CHOI: Every time I play this course I had a really good result here. It's kind of really hot here so I get exhausted, but the course, if I hit a really good shot then I get a lot of chances.

So I think this course suits me.

ANNIKA MAYERS: As we look towards the end of the season and you both reflect on the 2026 LPGA Tour season, can you talk about what you think went well for you throughout this year?

HAERAN RYU: Yeah, I mean, this year such a great year for me because I have a lot of great memory on the major championships, and everything much better than last year. So I'm so happy to got a great year this season.

But we have couple tournaments, and, yeah, I'm so happy to be here and great season, and I'm just enjoy last week and I just want to more enjoy the golf course and end of this season.

HYE-JIN CHOI: Yeah, I really did have a good season this year but there was some tournament I still kind of think about it. I still have a lot of tournament left so I'm just going to try my best.

Q. What do you think it will take to get good scores on this golf course?

HAERAN RYU: I think this week golf course is a little bit narrow and then the green is little have to more slope out there, so I think like more accuracy on the second shot and more confidence on the putting green.

So, yeah, everything I want to more keep patient in the golf course and that it works for the great score for this week.

HYE-JIN CHOI: This course, to talk about it, as Haeran said, it's really important to keep the fairway. I think that's the most important part. It's really important on the green because there is a lot of green and fringe there so it's important to read those.

Q. Hye-Jin, still searching for your first LPGA win. How much more special would it be to win here having lost the playoff last year?

HYE-JIN CHOI: I think it's going to be really meaningful for me to win this tournament this week. And actually to talk about last year, I thought it was really close to my first win. I started the last round kind of on the lead, 4-shot lead, so I had a good memory about it.

But if I have a good chance this week, I had a lot of experience, so I just want to (indiscernible)...
