Quick Quotes
Q. Okay. Here was her third round at the BMW Championship. First can you talk us through the front 9? Just what was going on out there for you?
HYE JIN CHOI: I had a really good score on the front nine. I felt good about my ball-striking early on, so I was able to play confidently and make a lot of birdie putts, which helped. I'm a little disappointed with how I played on the back nine, but I'll prepare well for the rest of the day and do my best.
Q. And then you mentioned the last few holes. You kind of walk us through what happened on those last couple holes?
HYE JIN CHOI: I made quite a few bogeys on the back nine, and it was especially disappointing to make bogey on the par 3s. But I tried to stay focused and look for opportunities on the remaining holes. When I made birdie on 16, I felt like I could get the momentum back. Unfortunately, I missed my second shot on the par-5, 17th. Looking back, I think I misjudged the shot, and then we took too long to find the ball, by seconds, so I wasn't able to recover from that. That was pretty disappointing?
Q. And then you've been playing some really good golf. And then especially playing well in front of all these Korean fans. How much has that meant to you to be putting on a show for all the fans out there?
HYE JIN CHOI: Their support always means a lot to me, not just today. I played really well on the front nine today, and it seemed like the fans were really enjoying it. Their support gave me even more energy and helped me play well. I always enjoy competing here in Korea, and it’s really special to be able to play in front of the fans here?
Q. And then last question. You're in the final group last week in contention. What did you learn from last week that you're really going to take into tomorrow?
HYE JIN CHOI: Last week, I played in the final group as well, but I wouldn't say I was particularly happy with how I played. I feel like there have been quite a few times when I haven't played my best when I've been in contention for a win. So tomorrow, rather than thinking too much about competing for the title, I just want to focus as much as possible on each shot?
