Quick Quotes

Q. Here after your second round of the BMW Ladies Championship, 8-under today. One of the best rounds we've seen all week. Can you talk about what the big differences were from yesterday with the wind?

LINDY DUNCAN: Today, yeah, definitely, I drilled it really good today. I hit my driver as good as I could possibly hit it, pretty much. I hit every fairway. So I had a lot of approach shots that I hit close because it wasn't as windy, and the greens are pretty soft.

So really, I took advantage of a front nine which I played as my back nine, I had two eagles in a row which I've never done before.

Q. What happened on those holes? Obviously a par 5. Was it a hole-out on the other one?

LINDY DUNCAN: It was a hole-out. I hit driver, 4-iron on to the green on par 5 and had a 6-footer for eagle and made that. Then driver, pitching wedge into 7, and that one went in the hole. The crowd let me know it went in, so that was pretty cool because it was blind.

Q. You had no idea, when you walked off, was there an ovation? What was going on there?

LINDY DUNCAN: It was really cool that they were clapping and a couple cheers when it went in, because you never are really sure how close it is, but I could tell by the way they before cheering and getting up there.

Q. Obviously a lot of golf left to play, weather going to be a factor heading into the weekend. What's the mindset going into the next up couple days?

LINDY DUNCAN: For sure a lot of it depends on the conditions, and if it rains, the greens will be soft but it will play longer. Just depends on wind and where they put the pins. But hopefully we get two more good rounds in.
