Quick Quotes
Q. Here after your first round at the BMW Ladies Championship, 6-under 66. Really impressive back nine but it was your front nine. Can you walk us through your overall day today and what kind of worked for you on the last nine holes?
KARIS DAVIDSON: It was just kind of one of those perfect days with my irons and hybrids that I nearly had a hole-in-one on the first birdie on the front nine -- which was pretty cool and then just hit a couple of really close shots. But yeah, it was overall a really solid day.
Q. When you're hitting your irons that well, sometimes you want to be more aggressive. Was that your mindset or were you sticking to the lines you had early in the week?
KARIS DAVIDSON: No, I just stuck to my lines. Even the ninth hole kind of cost me a bogey because I was too cautious with my line and then the putt was really tricky.
So no, just sort of stuck to the plan.
Q. And talk a little bit about this golf course, a lot of wind and it can be a little chilly out there. How do you manage those things and try to focus on what you need to do?
KARIS DAVIDSON: I felt like my patience was pretty good today because it was very slow. My caddie brings me some good snacks. So that's how I get through it.
Q. And heading into the weekend, obviously some good golf, you want to continue with that. What are some things you want to focus on over these next three rounds after playing one round already?
KARIS DAVIDSON: Just trying to stay patient because I'm assuming it's going to be really tough. Some weather conditions aren't looking too good. So just continuing to do that and try and keep up my good iron shots.
