Frontstretch Quotes

An Interview with:

Q. In the team meeting this morning, Tyler told the guys that I have a good feeling about this one, that we can make it happen today. That burnout that we saw, that was six months in the making. Sixth win of the year. Was it worth the wait?

TYLER REDDICK: That's way too long. Man, the way we worked there, I mean, thinking of Phoenix, we wanted to be a lot better when we came back here. I think we checked that box.

For us, this group never lost motivation, never lost the drive to keep searching and keep trying to find ways to make ourselves better, just be an all around better team.

I don't know, something about today. It didn't really start right. Just something about today, I had a really good feeling. Practice was amazing. Yeah, we're back to Victory Lane. First victory for Rockstar Energy, too.

Q. Walk me through the final restart. How did you get from fifth to first?

TYLER REDDICK: Good strategy. I think Billy had a really good idea what we needed to do there, going off what our balance was. Yeah, just got really fortunate. I didn't have a good launch. There was a hole. I was able to get through it. I thought the 19 was going to be able to cover the move into three. I got him loose. We checked out.
