Quick Quotes
Q. Eugenio, seven birdies on the scorecard today; top of the leaderboard. You've been crediting your putting really this week. Is it more the same this morning? What's been really key to another low round today?
EUGENIO CHACARRA: Yeah, putting was good. Obviously made bogey the same hole twice. I hadn't played very good.
But, yeah, something to learn. I think my game is good. I'm hitting the ball good. I'm putting good. Attitude is good.
So yeah, overall good round.
Q. Look, you said you need to bring your A-game if you're to contend to the likes the Rory McIlroy, Patrick Reed on the Race to Dubai standings. You do tend to be bringing that or bringing that most weeks. What would you say is the secret and key to maintaining that consistency and also executing the game plan?
EUGENIO CHACARRA: Yeah, for sure. Obviously they're the best, one of best two players in the world, so for me to compete with them I need to bring my A-game like I said and I'm trying to do that.
My team and myself are putting all we can to contend in Dubai. Obviously I need to get points, have some good weeks because those guys, they never rest. It's always going to be a good week for them; they're going to win.
So I need to like get my momentum going and hopefully I can keep doing that.
Q. You're in the position that everyone wants to be in, especially heading into round three as well. Do you enjoy being the man...
EUGENIO CHACARRA: Yeah, I just play to win, you know. I love winning. I love being in contention on Sunday. That's what I play every week for, you have a chance to win the tournament the last nine holes on Sunday.
Obviously it's nice when you're at the top of Friday, but there is a lot of golf left still. But, yeah, I like where I'm at. I like where my game is. I need to control what I can control, and that's my target for the next couple rounds.
