Game 4 Press Conference (postponed)
Q. What was the explanation from what changed from the 6:00, when they thought you were going to play, to now?
KEVIN CASH: I think the rain didn't change. It never cleared out the way they were hoping it. It started to get later in the hour, and MLB and I think both clubs did everything they could to try to get it in.
Made the most sense, like, at this point and this hour, with no guarantee that there wasn't another band coming.
Q. How does this affect your pitching moving forward and the idea of potentially playing four straight games as well?
KEVIN CASH: Martinez will start tomorrow and we'll go day to day from there.
Q. This wasn't really a surprise. This has been the forecast for 24 hours. Are you frustrated at all that this is the outcome, or would you prefer to keep waiting? Or what are your thoughts on just how this whole thing played out?
KEVIN CASH: No, I'm not frustrated at all. I have no reason to be frustrated. I think we did everything accordingly, just like we would do during the regular season. There's a lot of games you come in, you see and hear the forecast. It felt like everything operated very similar, and that's really all you can ask for.
Q. Did you walk out on the field, Kevin, at all to see how bad it was, especially maybe out at the warning track, it was really swampy?
KEVIN CASH: I didn't walk out there.
