Quick Quotes

Q. Okay, here with Amy after her second round of the Buick LPGA Shanghai. Just talk had a little bit about your day today. Pretty difficult conditions out there today. How do you just mentally stay present during your round?

AMY YANG: You know, all I can do is just intensely focus on what I have in front of me right at the time. That's all I can do.

That's what I've been practicing over the years, and, yeah, I think it worked pretty well today, yeah.

Q. And then a major champion. Does this feel like a major championship course out there?

AMY YANG: Oh, definitely playing tough, yeah. With the wind picked up today, yeah, it was tough, yeah.

Q. And then we saw some low scores yesterday; only a handful of players under par today. What do you think was the biggest difference between the two days?

AMY YANG: I would say more wind today. Yeah, and some of the pin positions were tough as well, yeah.

Q. And then heading into the weekend very much in contention, what are you trying to focus on heading into the next 36 holes?

AMY YANG: 36 holes, you know, a lot of golf left, and really all I can do is just one shot at a time. We saw all the time but it's difficult to do because when you're actually in that situation your mind goes, what if this, what if that.

You got forget about that and just do the best you can on each shot.
