NIKLAS NØRGAARD: Yeah, I'm very, very happy. Bit surprised as well. This should not suit me at all. It pretty much just neutralizes my best weapon, which is my driver. But I just managed to make no big mistakes, put the irons in play, and putt pretty well.

Q. Yeah, and after a lot of sitting around that we had to do today how pleased are you with the way you finished birdie, birdie?

NIKLAS NØRGAARD: Very, very happy, and also just happy to be able to finish today before sunlight. So overall pretty good day.

Q. Yeah. And we've got to talk about your game as a whole because you finished runner-up in August and again in October, so game is trending in the best type of direction.

NIKLAS NØRGAARD: Yeah, is definitely is. Had a tough year until then, and it's just I think just what happened at Belfry just made me regain my confidence. I didn't think that I've been playing that bad but I just needed like just something to spark it and that's what Belfry did; been playing good since.

Q. You mentioned the spark. We've got to talk about the spark in your round. When you opened up your back nine, nice eagle there. Talk us through it.

NIKLAS NØRGAARD: Yeah, just a 5-iron off the tee, which is weird on the par-5, right? And then 2-iron up to four feet and there you go. I have an eagle contest this year with Jakob Skov Olesen; brought me two ahead, so I'm pleased.

Q. Two ahead of him?

NIKLAS NØRGAARD: Yes.
