Quick Quotes
Q. Scott, seeing this round of golf to open up your account here in India, apart from that five-hour last hole. But you didn't let it affect you, did you?
SCOTT JAMIESON: No, thankfully I was able to scramble a par in the end. Yeah, just strange having such a long wait. Whenever you don't start with a tee shot it's always a little odd.
No, delighted with a 4-under start. I was hoping to have an afternoon nap but the rain had other ideas.
Q. No naps for you. It was a recent win at home, wasn't it, at the Nexo in Scotland. It was actually more than 5000 days since your last win on the DP World Tour. Strong showing here as well. What's been key to these strong performances, would you say?
SCOTT JAMIESON: Just been a little better tee to green. I think chipping and putting has always been a fairly strong part of my game, and I think just in the last sort of couple months I'm starting to -- you know, the things I was seeing on the range is kind of slowly coming out on the golf course. Yeah, hopefully more of that.
Q. What about India, because it's not always been your happiest hunting ground, has it? Missed the last three cuts out here in India. So what is it about this course that seems to be clicking for you?
SCOTT JAMIESON: Well, I didn't know that. Thank you. (Laughter.)
Yeah, like I say, I'm just keeping the ball a lot more in front of me than I maybe was the first half of the year, and I think that's obviously very key round this golf course.
If it's just in play, it doesn't have to be perfect, but if you can find it then you got another chance.
Q. Will you have a nap now?
SCOTT JAMIESON: I'll be trying.
