Quick Quotes

Q. Here with Ronni after the first round of the Buick LPGA Shanghai. Finished with three straight birdies. Can you just talk about this week so far and how good it feels to finish strong like that.

RUONING YIN: Yeah, I mean, those three birdies I made at the last definitely boost some confidence in me.

You know, I just felt like I've been hitting good and just I missed two really short putts on the back nine which made me mad, so I was playing the last three hole with anger.

But overall, I think just playing in front of the home crowd, just, you know, enjoy the game is my number one goal this week.

Q. And talk about the home crowd a little bit. First time here at Sheshan. Talk about on a Thursday, big group of fans here. Talk about their support.

RUONING YIN: I mean, the fans are amazing and they're rooting for me if I play bad or no matter I played bad or good, they just always cheering for me, which I really appreciate it.

But, you know, I still want to have a better performance for the next three days. Just, you know, make them proud.
