Q. Here with Carlota after her first round at the Buick LPGA Shanghai. Carlota, 5-under round, finishing with a birdie. Talk about this golf course a little bit and what do you feel like it takes to put up some low scores?

CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I think it's a great golf course. I think it suits long hitters, good ball strikers. I think if you're in the fairway you can score, but you need to hit good shots. I think having some height into the green, some spin, it helps.

Yeah, since Monday, Tuesday when I played and saw the course I thought it was a good course for me. My caddie, I mean, he's amazing. He's done a great job in walking course and having a good strategy.

Q. Talk a little bit about there is a lot of birdies out there, but also a lot of bogeys. How do you manage expectations when you're out there?

CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I feel if you hit fairways you can, yeah, go at the pins and make some birdies. But if you don't hit fairways the rough is tricky. You can get some fliers. You can get some tough lies.

So I think just have to be patient. I mean, I think it's a course that, I mean, 3-, 4-under a day, it's a great score. So, yeah, I mean, four days, it's a long week, so happy to start like this but lots of work to do.

Q. Then you played here last year in Shanghai. What are some of the biggest differences between here and the previous course?

CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I mean, I think it's a proper golf course. I think the courses in China, they are pretty good. I think probably the best in Asia that we play. But I think this one, I think any course that men play, it's a great golf course. I think this one has the length, it has the design, some short holes, some long holes, par-5s, long, short, par-3s are good, so I think it has everything and it's testing you every part of your game.

Q. Coming off that big Solheim win, talk about just what kind of I guess extra energy that gives you going into the last stretch of the season.

CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, Solheim is always special. I always love playing I always say for the team, for the teammates, for the Cup. It's such a fun week and I enjoy every day and I'm a little bit depressed once the week is over. I miss everyone.

No, yeah, it's just a fun week playing, yeah, team event, playing match play, four-ball with your partners. I really enjoy that week.
