Q. After a big win like against Shelton, sometimes there's a risk of having a letdown. What did you do today to make sure you weren't going to have a letdown?

ARTHUR GEA: I just stayed really focused after my match against Shelton. I enjoyed a bit the same day, but then the next day I was already focused on this match, and preparing all the tactical stuff, and it was good.

Q. You won 13 of your past 15 matches. You must be playing the best you've ever played in your life.

ARTHUR GEA: Yeah, I'm enjoying how I'm playing. I feel I'm improving all the time. I think it's a great way to continue like this, yeah.

Q. You're very close to the trophy. Do you want it?

ARTHUR GEA: Yes, I want it, but I'm still far from it.

Q. How did the match, what kind of match did you expect going into today?

ARTHUR GEA: Yeah, no, today was kind of a similar match as yesterday. I knew it would be tough on the return especially. I stayed in my game plan and was perfectly executing, I would say. Yeah, I've been strong at the last moments, and it was a good thing.

Q. Last year Valentin Vacherot won the title. Now you are in the quarterfinal. Do you think that another miracle is going to happen this year as well?

ARTHUR GEA: I don't think it's miracle when you hard work every day, but I hope to do the same. But as I said, I'm still far from it, and I will just go on the next match believing I can do it, and let's see what happens.

Q. Is Shanghai one of your favorite Masters 1000 now?

ARTHUR GEA: Yeah, it's my favorite because I played only one (laughing). But, no, I really like the city and the conditions here, so, yeah, I'm happy to be here.

Q. If you could form a team, who would you like to pick as your teammates, and what position would you like to play?

ARTHUR GEA: What do you mean? In soccer? I only played with French guys at soccer, so I would only play French team. I think they are the best (laughing), so all the French guys on my team, yeah.
