BANK OF UTAH CHAMPIONSHIP

October 4, 2026

Patrick Fishburn

Ivins, Utah, USA

Black Desert Resort

Quick Quotes

Q. Just overall comments on the week.

PATRICK FISHBURN: Yeah, it's about time I played decent. Third time is the charm, I guess. Played really solid all week. So much fun. I love playing in Utah, playing in front of friends and family. It's really a fun golf course to play. Black Desert is awesome. There's so many things that can happen on every single hole. You can birdie every hole or you can make double-plus.

Really a fun week. Wish I was a little higher on the leaderboard, but not bad.

Q. What's the takeaway from today to be 5-under through eight, maybe 66, this is kind of the floor.

PATRICK FISHBURN: For sure, back nine's got some really tough pins, like 11 is just impossible to get to. And 13 -- yeah, 13's impossible. The back nine is playing pretty tough. 15 -- sorry. 14, making a 5 on 14 is like losing a shot and a half. So that was kind of a bummer. I hit a pretty good shot right over the flag, just a little bit long, it kind of went into the collection area and kind of got a little too cute with the putt.

Then almost made a hole-in-one on 15, which would have been sweet. Then 18, you kind of hate to walk away with a 5 from the fair way.

But overall, a lot of positives, a lot of good things. Felt like my game was in good shape, putted the ball really nice. Definitely some positive for the next five events coming up.

Q. You mentioned that there are big numbers and there's good numbers out here on this course all around. I'm interested in your decision process on 5. You didn't go for it. What did you pull? What were you thinking at the time? Clearly it worked out and you made 3, but walk us through that, please.

PATRICK FISHBURN: Yeah, where the pin was today, you had to be -- first of all, it's in between my mini and my driver in the morning. In the afternoon I can hit a perfect mini and it will be right on the green like it did yesterday. I was kind of in between, same thing on 1 -- the very first round -- a little bit in between, tried to take some off the driver, double-cross to the left, made 6.

So where that pin was, I felt like it was a pretty easy shot to have a full shot, try to spin it back. I just felt like I kind of took a lot of risk, unnecessary risk at a play there, even though it's hard. It's hard to lay up on a 310-yard par 4. It's just natural instinct to try to go for it, especially around 4. So I was disciplined, I guess, I don't know.

Q. Claim it. Disciplined.

PATRICK FISHBURN: I made 3. That's the important point.

Q. You circled it. Move on.

PATRICK FISHBURN: Yeah.

Q. You get to travel with your family frequently. This week would have been different. I've seen a lot of your family around here this week. What was that like for you?

PATRICK FISHBURN: Awesome. I've got the most amazing family ever. Siblings, parents, wife, three kids, Rob basically family. So many people that have had a huge impact on me growing up, Ogden, Ogden Country Club here.

I'm just very fortunate to have the people who have followed me, followed me my whole career, nice enough to come out and support and watch me. Very blessed and grateful to have a great support system around me. Really, really fortunate for sure.
