Q. All right, we're here with Polly Mack after her third round at the 2026 LOTTE Championship. Polly, you talked about your trust in your driver yesterday. Assuming this has gone on for the whole weekend, the confidence and the trust. What's working so well off the tee this weekend?
POLLY MACK: Yeah, just driver, the lines we're taking. It's going really well. I'm still hitting it really, really well. I know that there were one or two mistakes out there. Over a course of four tournament rounds it can happen.
Just I think big today was just letting go of it and on to the next shot, and I think we did really well at that and not reacting but keep calm and just look forward to the next shot.
Q. Yeah, then you had the birdie on 18; put yourself back into T2 to finish the day here. What was going through your mind on that hole?
POLLY MACK: I mean, similar play as yesterday. More wind from the right than down. Yeah, I just wanted to put myself in a good position for birdie. I didn't force myself for anything. I knew the potential is there. I just been chipping really well this week, so, yeah, just put myself in a good position. Made a six-footer again like yesterday and really happy with that.
Q. Like I mentioned and you just mentioned, three birdies on 18 in your first three rounds here. Something special about that hole that just plays to your strengths?
POLLY MACK: I mean, generally the par-5s have been reachable for me this week, but, yeah, 18 is usually downwind, maybe a bit more from the right today. I can just carry the bunkers in the fairway that I think most people can't, so that's a big advantage, having mostly like about 200 meters, 220 yards into the green.
Yeah, the green kind of plays to my advantage, too. I know I have soft hands at the moment for some good chips. Yeah, just been going well.
Q. Looking for your first career win tomorrow what's it going to take to hunt down Jeeno?
POLLY MACK: I like to be in a chase actually. I like to chase rather than being in the lead, so this is a good position for me.
I'm just looking forward to a great Sunday, good momentum. I know I have it in me to just put on a good show out there. I have good momentum with my caddie, so I think we can just have a lot of fun out there and put ourselves in good positions to make some birdies and make some putts.
Q. Last question: This is the first time you really faced adversity with two bogeys today. You had bogey-free rounds previously.
POLLY MACK: Yeah.
Q. How are you able to just keep a positive mentality and just keep pushing on?
POLLY MACK: In the end of the day it's just a bogey, right? It isn't something that throws you completely off the game. So something that completely is normal. And, yeah, therefore it was just -- it happens and keep moving forward and birdies will happen again, too.
