Quick Quotes

Q. All right, we are here with Miyu after her third round at the 2026 LOTTE Championship. Miyu, you have 19 birdies through three rounds. This is the most in the field. What's been key for scoring out here this week?

MIYU YAMASHITA: I know I'm hitting a lot of birdies but I'm also hitting a lot of bogeys, so I feel like this is kind of strange golf for me.

Q. That brings me to my next question. You had a double bogey on six. How do you bounce back from that and recover into another great round?

MIYU YAMASHITA: I think my shots have been consistent the past three days, but I think I did a pretty good job resetting and changing and moving onto the next hole.

Q. Awesome. And then two more questions for you. One, are you the type of player that enjoys chasing the leader on the final round?

MIYU YAMASHITA: Yeah, I don't mind. (Smiling.)

Q. And then my last question for you: What is the game plan headed into tomorrow?

MIYU YAMASHITA: Like I said, I'm feeling good with my shots, so I want to be bogey-free tomorrow.
