Quick Quotes
Q. Bogey-free through 36 holes. 63 yesterday and today. Can we just get some comments on your first two days here.
KEVIN ROY: Yeah, it's been obviously really good. Like I think I hit every fairway, which is pretty crazy. I don't think I've ever hit that many fairways in a row. So, yeah, swing feels really good. Irons feel really good. Putter feels really good. Just all around, yeah, game feels solid.
Q. Your second year here, what have you learned about the golf course?
KEVIN ROY: Yeah, my first year here it was somewhat visually intimidating off the tee, knowing that you don't really have too much room other than fairway and lava rock. So once I started playing it more and more I realized that there's definitely more room than it looks out there. It's pretty special out here, the views are pretty sick. Yeah, it's a really fun course to play.
Q. You're number 87 in the FedExCup fall standings. What are your goals for just not only this week but for the rest of the fall?
KEVIN ROY: Yeah, I think first and foremost keep a job (laughing). No, really, just keep going out and just trying to play one shot at a time and see where we stack up at the end. Obviously it would be really nice to kind of feel pretty darn comfortable with say four events to go, but looking forward to the 36 holes coming up and then obviously go over to Japan and then kind of re-evaluate the rest of the year.
Q. You're done early today, what's the plan for the rest of the day?
KEVIN ROY: I'm going to get some food and put my feet up, it was a quick turnaround this morning. Hang out, maybe have some baseball on, but just kind of hang out.
