Quick Quotes

Q. All right, joined by here with Pornanong after her second round here at the LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei. Really quiet round for you with the exceptional birdie and eagle in there. Just take us through the round today, especially the eagle on 13.

PORNANONG PHATLUM: Today was very solid round for me. Hitting driver so good and like not miss the fairway like today.

And then the approach shot, also like 18 greens today. Really perfect shot. And on 13 it's eagle is like about 98 yards and yeah, like 52 degree wedge work so good today. It make me like hit so close many times and make the birdie a lot, yeah.

Q. How difficult was it to hit all 18 fairways out here? I know there is a lot of different elements, especially the wind, but what was particularly working well off the tee box?

PORNANONG PHATLUM: Well, I think it's pretty soft for the fairway. It's pretty soft, so I tried to like make it aim like middle of the fairway because not going roll to anywhere.

I hit it so good that I expect, so pretty good.

Q. Yeah. What do you like about this course?

PORNANONG PHATLUM: I've been here like many times, like more than ten years. I like Hawai'i. I like the food, the vibe here. Yeah, it's like good to come back.

Q. Is there anything particular about the course that you think fits your game well?

PORNANONG PHATLUM: Yeah. I feel like I've been here -- I feel like I'm in Asia with food and stuff and the grass.

Q. How important is a week like this ahead of a stretch in Asia coming up?

PORNANONG PHATLUM: Well, for me my ranking not so good for this year so I just try to play my best, and then, yeah, do every shot the best that I can for this week.
