Quick Quotes

Q. Quite testy conditions. Talk us through it.

ROCCO REPETTO TAYLOR: Yeah, I really enjoyed it. I would say the wind picked up there at the end and made it tougher but happy with my round.

Q. How much golf had you played in this part of world and how much do you enjoy the challenge and variety of links golf?

ROCCO REPETTO TAYLOR: Not much, I started playing links golf about two years ago, and once I started playing, I love it, to be honest, just how creative you have to be and all different type of shots. It's pretty cool.

Q. What is it in your game that suits this type of play?

ROCCO REPETTO TAYLOR: I have a lot of tee balls I like to hit. I like to hit a low fade and I feel like once the windy conditions kick up, I can hit fairways.

Q. You are 15th in The Race to Dubai coming into this week, so plenty at stake over the next couple of days. How much does a performance like this really sharp earn the belief that you can take full advantage of that this weekend?

ROCCO REPETTO TAYLOR: Sure. I've been playing some great golf for the last couple two months. It just hadn't clicked. Coming into this week making the most of the starts I have left and trying to enjoy myself.
