Q. How do you explain the way the match went today? What was the turning point?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: I think I have nothing to explain today. I mean, it's been a tough match for me, first of all for the condition - didn't help me a lot - also for the level that I played. I think it's not my level. Yeah, everybody didn't understand maybe how good is Roman, especially today.

You have to accept. For me it's been a tough match, but for him no. Today was like this. I have to accept.

Q. This was not an easy first round. When the draw happened, this was always going to be a tough one. He's been out of the game for a while because of injuries. He is back. He's a very capable player, isn't he?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: Yeah, it is. But I think also no one has good draw here. Is really good tournament. Since the first round you have to play your best tennis to go through in the tournament.

FLAVIO COBOLLI: Hmmm...

Q. What were you not happy with the most?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: I'm not happy about my physical condition. The shape wasn't good today I think maybe for the trouble that I did.

But if I can change something, maybe is the way that I play tactically. Today I think I play perfect for him. He was really happy about that. He destroyed me. The end was like this.

Q. Is it easy to put it to one side at the end?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: What you say? Sorry.

Q. Would it be easy to put this result to one side or it will stay in the mind?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: No, it's already gone (laughter).

Q. I want to ask you, what is the hardest part about tennis for you? You always seem to have fun, interact with the fans. You can make people laugh. How are you able to deal with the difficulties of the sport and at the same time be fun and be yourself?

FLAVIO COBOLLI: I'm just like this. I like when I play. I like when I have the opportunity to share the court with the best player. I like to be Flavio always. Maybe it's because I'm always Flavio and I never change that people like me.

Yeah, I think my game is interactive. I make people fun. And nothing, I love to play, I love to compete, and make the people happy.
