Quick Quotes

Q. Okay, here with Ina Yoon after her first round here at the LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei. Really solid run for you today; 6-under; chased A Lim down. Just take us through the round. What went into it?

INA YOON: I made a lot of like mid-range putt today. Was so good. My front nine was really solid. It was back nine, but for me it was front. I made five birdies and a little bit of mistake on the back, but I recovered okay so it was fun.

Q. Obviously battled a lot of conditions today. How do you stay the course and stay focused when there is wind and rain and all that stuff?

INA YOON: I was lucky. So when it's suspended, I was about to hit and didn't tee off yet.

So the horn, when the horn blow, when the horn blow kind of stop and maybe chilling in the tent.

After that was cool. Yeah, was okay. Just nonstop until to 18th hole.

Q. We've heard that wind plays a big factor on this course. How do you manage the wind?

INA YOON: I feel like I'm kind of getting used to it because, yeah, I played Scotland golf and AIG and kind of get used to. Try to hit it low and green was little soft so even I hit the low shot, ball kind of stop quick so it was cool.

Q. And then obviously LOTTE being a Korean company, lots of Korean support out this week. Is it nice to see that support?

INA YOON: Yeah, of course. That means a lot to Korean players, me as well. Yeah, it's good to see. It's really good to see a lot of Korean around. Really grateful to support LPGA. Thanks for LOTTE.

Yeah, yeah, it's so good.

Q. Only 25 putts for you. Were you hitting it -- the putts were rolling in or hitting it close? What was the cause behind that?

INA YOON: My shot was good, but I made a lot of mid-range putting today. So, yeah, putting feel was great.

Q. Last one: WTGL coming up very soon. Wearing your Boston green. How excited are you for that opportunity?

INA YOON: I think my outfit is telling about it. I'm so excited for that. Yeah, I'm happy I'm playing well when I'm wearing green. I meant to that today, so, yeah, I'm so excited for that.
