Quick Quotes

Q. Okay, here with Andrea Lee after her first round of the 2026 LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei. Andrea, you had 14 out of 14 fairways hit. What was feeling so strong about your game in that aspect?

ANDREA LEE: Yeah, I feel like I'm always pretty accurate off the tee, so it's nice to hit every fairway. Definitely an advantage here, especially on this golf course hitting into the greens.

But, yeah, I feel like overall my ball striking was pretty solid today. Happy with the way I hit the ball. Hopefully I can keep it going the rest of the week.

Q. Yeah, then you were out there for both weather suspension.

ANDREA LEE: Yeah.

Q. For a player like you, how do you keep the momentum and finish strong?

ANDREA LEE: Yeah, I think we got a little lucky the first kind of long suspension. We were under No. 1 tent and we just got to hang out a little bit. I was playing with Hannah Green and Chizzy today and Hannah is a good friend of mine and Chizzy is really cool.

It was just a laid back, friendly pairing, so that was in my favor too, I guess, just playing with friends.

But, I mean, in those situations you just have to just kind of I don't know take a snack break, take a breather, just be patient, because everyone out there is dealing with it.

Q. Exactly. And it's your fourth start at the LOTTE Championship. Is there anything about this tournament or the course that you keep coming back to?

ANDREA LEE: I mean, I love Hawai'i. Took a lot of family vacations here growing up with my parents so just brings back a lot of good memories. I really do like this golf course and I love coming back to this area and just always trying to get really good food while I'm here, too.

It's just a really fun week. Kind of feel like a little bit of vacation and work.

Q. Last question is: What does success look like for you this weekend?

ANDREA LEE: Honestly just trying to play my best. I haven't had the best of years. It's been kind of a rollercoaster for me. I think the goal right now is just to try and put myself in the best position to qualify for the is CME championship at the end of the year. I'm planning to play all four in Asia so that's going to be kind of like a Hail Mary trying to get in.

But it's nice to have a good round today and I'm just going to try and take it one shot at a time and just see where I end up at the end of the week.
