MATT JESUS: Okay, pleased to be joined by Miyu ahead of the 2026 LOTTE Championship. Miyu, just probably finished plaque the pro-am; gotten to see the course now a few times. What have you made of this course and how does it suit some of your strengths?

MIYU YAMASHITA: It was raining today so the greens are soft and the balls are stopping, but this course is really hard in my opinion.

There is going to be a wind coming from the ocean, from different directions, so I have to manage that this week.

MATT JESUS: How do you prepare for a challenge like that with the different winds coming off the ocean?

MIYU YAMASHITA: Obviously I'm going read the wind, but I think I'm going to trust my feeling. That's where I'm going to decide which club I'm going to hit with.

MATT JESUS: Have there been any tricky winds you've noticed so far on any specific holes in your preparation?

MIYU YAMASHITA: First four holes on the inside, I think it's one to ten, it's really hard to read the wind.

MATT JESUS: How does a week like this prepare you for the upcoming Asia stretch?

MIYU YAMASHITA: Obviously it's unusual to have this kind of wind, but I'm going enjoy this and prepare for the Asian Tour.

Last year I didn't do really well on this tournament so I'm looking forward to do good this week.
