Quick Quotes

Q. All right, here with Chanettee Wannasaen after her third and final round of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G. What is your overall assessment of the weekend? Definitely a great round to catch up on the leaderboard.

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: Thank you. Actually this week I play really good. Last year, last year I think I might be play like really good at this course because green is pretty soft. Like you can play like aggressive. I putt really good this week.

But last year have pouring rain so we cancel. So I come back this year and I always, enjoy and happy to play this course because I feel like I can play this course and I can play well.

And then, yeah, it show because I play really good this week.

Q. Yeah, definitely. I know you mentioned about the course. You didn't really see it much last year. Anything you feel like after seeing three rounds this year that suits you best or your strengths suit the course well?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: I think because I putt really good today. Also like this week I putt really good. I would say that. Because my iron not really good. (Laughter.) But it's okay because I also have a couple hole like hit close to the pin, you know, like I can like make a chance from the mid-range putt.

So, yeah, and I putt really good, so, yeah.

Q. Speaking of putting, you had 78 putts over three rounds, which is the least in the field right now, fewest in the field. Was there anything you worked on or prepared more to feel good with your putting out here?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: I don't know.

Q. Nothing?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: Because I was struggle this year. Like I putt really bad with a short putt, but this week I kind of feel like -- I feel like I know like what speed I wanted, how ball going to roll to the hole, in the hole.

So I can see, you know, in my mind. I can feel it. So I think that's why I can putt this week, because the week before like after Portland we play in Canada. I putt really bad. Boston I also putt really bad.

This week I putt really good. I think it's just depend on my feeling.

Q. Did you feel a week like this coming? You mentioned you struggled in the past. Did you feel like something like this coming where it could boost your confidence going forward?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: I would say this year is really struggle with, but right now, because I think I let everything like go, you know, because I really stressful. I cry every month, so like last month and this month was the first time I didn't cry. Happy with that, yeah.

Q. Lastly, got a big Asia stretch coming up. Anything you'll prepare for that and how will you change your mindset headed to the Asia stretch?

CHANETTEE WANNASAEN: I don't know yet, because when I -- because I really enjoy to play Asian Swing because I like to go to like China, Korea, like Malaysia, whatever, because I like to go shopping there. Have like holiday there. I would say that's kind of like just play golf for fun.
