Q. DP World Tour title No. 11. One of the most historic tournaments in the world, really. How are you feeling right now?
MATT FITZPATRICK: Yeah, yeah. Obviously delighted to get over the line. It was definitely a battle today. Didn't have my best stuff for the first 12 holes, and then managed to find some of my best stuff.
Q. You had 17 birdies and an eagle through three rounds. Your first one didn't come until 13, 12 pars in a row. How much was there a sense of frustration and also the patience you had to show today?
MATT FITZPATRICK: Yeah, obviously a lot of patience. Golf is a game of multiple skills, and I used them all in the end this week.
I felt like that the first 12 was a battle. I didn't have my best stuff. Different wind direction kind of threw me off a little bit today. And, yeah, just coming down the stretch there, to get the shots I did and make the putts I did was special.
Q. And you're now 15 professional wins around the world. Where does this round specifically rank for you on and around the greens?
MATT FITZPATRICK: Yeah, it's right over there, I mean, yeah, just felt fantastic with the short stuff today in particular. And I felt in a way I was a little bit lucky. I left myself in some nice spots that you can still get up-and-down from, but fully took advantage of that and did really well.
Q. Quite a nice few weeks with the birth of baby Jack and then this topping it off?
MATT FITZPATRICK: Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Can't wait to get home and see him, to be honest.
