Q. You have the first full point on the board for the United States this morning. Chris, some huge putts holed the last few holes here at Medinah. What did you see, and what happened?

CHRIS GOTTERUP: I don't know, I was watching my partner hoop it on the first couple holes and felt like I was playing good all day, just burning edges, and finally got them to go and it was at a good time.

Q. Cam, 4-up through 4 including your eagle at the 4th. How important was it for the United States to get off to a quick start this morning?

CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, it was nice. We've kind of been in a hole the first few matches we've played, and to get up like that and have some amount of momentum was fun. That's what it's supposed to feel like out here. Still holding my putter, which is pretty much what I did on the back nine, watching my partner hole everything.

Q. You had such a good partner that I can tell you that you're playing together in foursomes. You're going to be playing against Adam Scott and Sungjae Im. Your reaction to that, your first time playing foursomes in the Presidents Cup, Chris?

CHRIS GOTTERUP: Yeah, I'll be excited. I've got a great partner here, so I'm going to have to bring it this afternoon.
