THE MODERATOR: Jessica, can we please have your thoughts on the match.

JESSICA BOUZAS MANEIRO: Yeah, tough match today. I knew that I was playing against Karolina Muchova. She's honestly one of my favorite players on tour. I think she's so talented.

Yeah, I think there were some details in the match, but I'm happy with my performance today. Yeah, but it's tough.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. You said how talented Karolina is. Can you expand on that a little bit? What makes her game so special and tough to play against for you?

JESSICA BOUZAS MANEIRO: I mean, I really like to watch her play. I mean, me and my coach, we always talking about how she talented it is, how she plays. It's really beautiful to watch her playing tennis.

Yeah, I mean, when I knew that I was playing against her, I was happy for that because I wanted to play against such a player that she is.

Yeah, I think that about her.

Q. It was close obviously in both sets. What do you think you need to do to perhaps improve your game to get to her level?

JESSICA BOUZAS MANEIRO: Yeah, I think it was details. I was 4-2 up in the first set. I had some break points there, some net bad luck. Also, she was serving good.

I know that against these players, you have to be there, you have to take that opportunities. If you don't take it, they will. I think that was the main point.

But after that, I think I did a good performance. I was trying to fight until the last ball. I think she was serving really well in the last games. I was one break down. That was tough.

But yeah, I think she plays good. It was some details. Against these type of players, amazing players, you have to take it.

Q. Obviously Czechia are so strong. It must be maybe intimidating for other teams in this competition. What do you think it is about Czech tennis and all the players that makes them the next level?

JESSICA BOUZAS MANEIRO: Yeah, I mean, they have such a great players in Czech Republic, so young players. Also Noskova is super young. They're playing amazing.

Also Sara Bejlek is number four in the team, and she's playing amazing, too. I think they have a good players.

I'm always saying that in this competition everything can happen. It's about teams, about your country, not just about yourself. Of course, they have amazing team. I think they have good relationship between them. That's a good point for them. We also have it.

I think we will fight. I lost the first point, but let's see this one.
