Q. Okay, here with Lizette Salas after her first round at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G. You had a super strong front nine. Five of your seven birdies on the front nine. What was working well to begin the afternoon for you?

LIZETTE SALAS: I think just visualization, commitment to the shots. Made a few drastic changes with my putter so I think it's all working well right now.

You know, I think overall just staying patient, knowing I have the game to make good shots, make the putts. It's just seeing it drop. That first putt I had maybe like a 20-footer that went in, so obviously those help create the hole a little bit bigger.

So try to keep as much of that momentum going on the back and finished with a great birdie on nine, so pretty proud of my round today.

Q. Yeah. What are some of your overall impressions on the course after one round?

LIZETTE SALAS: I mean, it's a three-day event so you got to come out hot. That's obviously like a good thing going into tomorrow.

I think I know -- I'm doing a lot of things right. I think I need to give myself more credit, just fine tune whatever I can find later when I evaluate my round.

Overall I stayed in it. I stayed patient. I stayed committed, which was a huge thing for me coming into this week.

I played with no expectations. Played with no fear. I know that's very simple to say, but I know this golf course very well. The familiarity of this course suited my game.

Q. And then you talked about obviously being familiar with this course, the Tour being here often. Was there anything that maybe you prepared differently this week compared to previous years or in general?

LIZETTE SALAS: No. Every year is different. I knew how soft the greens can be, and so I stayed committed to just attacking the pins knowing the greens are receptive.

So just stayed committed. I mean, that's the thing. It's the theme, right, staying committed. Just knowing I have the game to shoot really good rounds on this golf course.

I had a lot of confidence going into the back side, so hopefully going to keep that momentum going into tomorrow and Sunday.

Just cliche as it sounds, one shot at a time. Again, really proud of how I fought out there today.

Q. Last question. You mentioned confidence; keeping that momentum. What is it in terms of confidence you're looking forward to bringing to the next two days?

LIZETTE SALAS: I'm just going to do the same thing. I think it worked really well not getting too ahead of myself.

You know, I gave myself like a three-second reaction time and it's forget about it and move on to the next shot.

My swing is great. I feel great. Obviously pain-free, which is obviously a plus.

So just going to keep it the same the next two days.
