Q. Okay, here with Amy Yang after her first round of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G. So Amy, you had a bogey-free round today. What do you feel like was working best out there on the course?

AMY YANG: Just didn't make a lot of mistakes out there. You know, they were all doable. Just had some good shots and putts here there and came out a good score.

Q. You had five out of six birdies on the back nine.

AMY YANG: Yeah.

Q. Anything you changed headed into the back nine? Strong finish there.

AMY YANG: Actually, yeah, par for eight holes, needed a lot of patience through my front nine. Then my back was getting tight and I like just kept telling myself, don't give up. Let's just be patient and do one shot at a time.

It did get really tight towards the end so need to work on that, but the results were really good, yeah.

Q. Definitely. Kind of like we mentioned before, a lot of birdies out on the field this week. What do you feel like about the course is that's playing so well?

AMY YANG: Greens are rolling really nice but it's soft, so you can really go for the pin, you know, be aggressive.

I think that's why you see some lower numbers this week.

Q. And then great round today. Do you feel like this will boost your confidence headed into the weekend?

AMY YANG: Yeah. Two more rounds is a lot of golf, but my game is heading towards good side so I'm, yeah, very hopeful.
