Q. Fabulous 55 here on Friday. Talk us through your day.
RYAN GERARD: Yeah, just kind of got off to a weird start with the fog delay kind of making things take a little longer.
But played really solid. Stayed patient. I actually hit better yesterday and just kind of missed a lot of putts.
But just really tried to stay patient, hit a lot of good putts. And I was lucky enough to make one on 7 and then kind of got a bonus one on 8.
So really solid round of golf. There's a lot of water and danger lurking on this golf course in various spots. So very pleased with just kind of how we placed the ball around. And just going to go get some rest this afternoon and get ready to do it again tomorrow.
Q. You say solid. You've got 13 birdies and an eagle so far the first 36 holes. Is there something about the course that just suits your eye as well?
RYAN GERARD: Yeah, I mean, it's just kind of just another golf course that you play, but, yeah, I just feel really comfortable with how I've been hitting it. Kind of took it really easy Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Been pretty fatigued. Been playing a lot of golf and dealing with a few minor injuries.
So just really trying to go out there and take advantage when we can, and have done a good job of just keeping the ball in play and making a few putts here and there.
Q. Can I ask what the minor injuries are, how you're feeling?
RYAN GERARD: Yeah, I think the biggest thing is just this is my ninth week on the road in a row. So just everything is just kind of slowing down. Couple small hip, hamstring, lower back, just stuff from playing a lot of golf and getting on a lot of airplanes.
But, yeah, we'll be ready to go tomorrow.
