ANGEL HIDALGO: Well, I played quite good. I started pretty good, the front nine, so that helped to continue the round, like yesterday.

Yeah, very in control, the round, making few up-and-downs, so still like the round continues, like the one on 12 was pretty important.

Yeah, pretty happy, and let's see what the weekend brings us.

Q. You just mentioned up-and-downs. I've got to talk about the one on 18 because it looked for all the world you were dead at the back of that bunker, and you went for the pin. Talk us through that.

ANGEL HIDALGO: Well, the lay was good, so is all I can say. Yeah, but the stance was not the most regular one we had. But when the lie is okay, you can do a little bit more. The wind was into, so that helped too.

One thing I was thinking is, okay, if you don't contact good the ball, go to the bunker. Don't go to the water.

So I hit quite decent, and I holed the putt. That was pretty cool.

Q. A mixed bag, I would say, in 2026 for you. But you've had some recent good form, top 5 in Switzerland, playing well this week. What are you happy with about your game at the moment?

ANGEL HIDALGO: No, I'm playing quite good, especially I'm putting better these past five weeks. Yeah, that's making the difference.

The game is still there. Hitting quite good. Always when you are making good scores, you can take some confidence.

So, yeah, pretty happy, and try to go as low as I can in the weekend.
