Q. Got off to a fast start today, Wyndham. Putts were falling. Just describe the day with Collin and how that match played out.

WYNDHAM CLARK: Collin and I have played a lot of golf together, whether it's at home or on the road, so we've been good buddies. We started off great, 3-up through 4, and then we missed some putts.

Collin played really awesome kind of in the middle stretch and just didn't have some putts fall. I kind of lost my groove a little bit and then finished strong. Yeah, it was a great day.

Q. Collin, how do you make for how this golf course played today? Coming up into the week, very wet. It seemed like it dried out as it went, and really the middle of that round, it felt like it was hard to find birdies.

COLLIN MORIKAWA: It's changing a lot, and I think the next three days are going to keep changing. Fairways are going to be soft, but these greens are getting firmer, they're getting faster. We're going to be hitting different clubs playing the slopes.

It's a lot of fun. It's nice to see a course like that change as we see it, and we just have to adjust accordingly.
