Q. With Geoff Ogilvy, it's a long buildup today going into the Presidents Cup. What did you see from your guys out here today at Medinah?

GEOFF OGILVY: Saw some good stuff. Like you said, a long buildup, lots of planning, lots of strategizing, and just to get things going was a lot of fun. First tee was exciting.

I saw a lot of good golf out there. 2-3 their way is not too bad. We had a couple of really good solid matches there, and we had a match go up to 18, which would have been nice if it went the other way, but 2-3, we'll take that.

The boys have got a round under their belt now. It sounds like the course played a little tougher today than they were expecting, a little bit firmer. So we'll just get a plan for tomorrow and look forward to that.

Q. The match of the day was Match 1, and U.S. deferred to you guys. You sent out Min Woo Lee and Sungjae Im. What about that pairing made you confident that they were going to go out play as well as they really did?

GEOFF OGILVY: Look, Min Woo is up and coming, playing better and better, and he's been so excited for this. And Sungjae, he's one of the most reliable players in the world. He's been on this team a bunch of times now. We just thought they were the right guys to lead the charge for us today and take on Scottie and Sam.

Yeah, they did really, really well. It sounded like a really high-quality match, and it came up to the last. It was a good decision, and well done to Scottie and Sam for beating them.
