Q. Si Woo, you're the highest ranked international player on your team. Do you feel some pressure? Did you feel like you needed to go out and perform really well with Tom today and put a point on the board?

SI WOO KIM: Yeah, I knew it was not going to be easy today, so I told Tom, let's go to the 17th somehow and then we'll see at the end, and then it worked great. We had a great start the first two holes, and after we got tied I was a little bit nervous. But after that we're getting everything better, and then everything less pressure, and yeah, especially Tom helps me a lot.

Q. Tom, he never really looks nervous to me. You guys played awfully well today. That tee shot to close out that match here at 16 was pretty special. Could you tell how close that was?

TOM KIM: I knew it was going to be close, especially with the reaction behind the green. Playing on away soil, you don't really get reactions like that. But I just knew it was somewhat tight, but I didn't know how close it was.

But we just -- me and Si Woo really told ourselves we've got to put the accelerator on. We can't really get too loose out there. You've got to really keep your head down and try to win a point. I felt like we kept the pressure on, and we did a good job today.

Q. It's pretty much a guarantee that the Americans are going to see a lot of you and Si Woo this week. What is it about you guys together that is a really strong team and tough to beat?

TOM KIM: I think we just know our games really well. We've been through a lot. We've played in very high-pressure stakes before, and we've pulled off some and we've lost some. I think having that chemistry really works.

Who knows if I'll see him again, but it's whatever Geoff really wants for us. I think him and I are very, I would say, easy to play with. Whoever we play with, as long as we trust them, we're just going to go along with the flow. If I get to see him tomorrow or maybe even Saturday, great. If I don't, then it's fine; I'm going to wish him the best, and we're going to do pretty well.
